Leaders in Professional Education in High Tech and Leadership  

The High Tech Institute is a leader in post bachelor/ academic education for technology professionals. We focus on the development of both technical skills and soft skills/ leadership.

The improvement of the competitiveness of the Dutch High Tech industry is our mission. We do so by offering education at an internationally approved and recognised level, in close cooperation with universities, professional institutes and industrial enterprises. Our experts are leaders in their fields of expertise.

Several courses in our portfolio are internationally renowned, including those for mechatronics, precision engineering, design principles, system architecture and optics. A number of these courses were part of the former portfolio of Philips Centre for Technical Training (CTT), prior to 1st January 2010. By continuing these in-depth courses and by modernising them within The High Tech Institute, important knowledge remains accessible for the industry.

For our Institute, it is important to aim for continuity in the long term. This is possible by working together and joining forces, with all relevant stakeholders. At a strategic level, we have joined forces with the associations DSPE, Euspen, the universities of Eindhoven, Delft and Twente, the colleges Fontys and Avans, training organisations such as Pao and T2Prof and companies like ASML, Demcon, Frencken, NTS, Océ, Philips, Sioux and VDL ETG.
